Alex, keep coming back to this picture. Talk about silhouttes.. even the smoke is silhoutted with dark and lighter region. The drift of the smoke from the smokestack is what makes this image special for me. Great job.

Great feeling of motion - you can see the steam streaming off into the distance. -Ed Hahn

uh huh, this is really stunning. Very bold with nice wind movement. I'll dissent and say you shouldn't crop the top as I think the proportions of the composition are right on. I rather prefer Cindy's suggestion to deepen the sky color or perhaps desaturate the sky a bit for a more grey composition. Still, this is a fairly minor nit to my mind and this is really strong as it stands. -Michael

Many thanks for comments everyone. I probably will follow suggestions and crop a part of the sky

I'm with the others on cropping the sky. The real drama is in the steam or smoke and the fog. Cropping above the larger pink cloud would add drama. Love this one. Again it looks like Washington State. Ann C

Wonderful. Like it a lot. I would suggest maybe take a little off the top of the sky, but not eliminate it. In fact, I thnk I would work with some layering to saturate and deepen the blue a little. Cindy

Alex, like the picture... the smockstack, construction equipments, smog and all. Find the (*) blue sky a little distracting for the foggy morning. Maybe, crop some of the top portion off.
