Thank you, Paul, for your kind words. Chatfield Lake is only a couple of miles from my house. There was no wind that morning and from my backyard I could see the steam rising from the water so I drove to the lake to take this shot.

This photo is painfully beautiful (I mean that in the most positive way). I sure wish I had snapped the shutter! Simply stunning.
