D'oh! The age I guessed, but I must have had a brain flip when I completely ignored the 17mm bit.
Stupid me... Phil

Well, actually, I was trying to do a triple play on 17. First was that the boy/model is about 17 years old (actually closer to 18 but... :-) Second, was trying to portray this as an evening shot (at about 17:00 hours; in fact was thinking of putting in a clock with the hands at 5.00 pm but then better sense prevailed ;-) and third, it was shot at 17mm. :-)

Cheers, Vikas

Eh? I'm probably being a bit daft, but what "dual play on 17"?

Great image, exceptional toning. Also like the dual play on "17".

Vikas, This is an excellent composition!! Just curious: Was the table edge by the head intentionally composed at an angle rather than straight? --Cat

Its great, although a bit to contrived for my liking. As Stu said though, its going to be hard to beat :-)

Perfect expression for this challenge. You established and executed your wide angle to perfection. Markjay

Vikas, you really ARE having a good time with this challenge topic! With each photo you post, the creativity goes up a notch and this one is the best so far.....the best of an exceptional bunch. I'm getting kind of scared as to what you're gonna come up with over the weekend.

Not 100% sure the staging would be quite like this were it for real, however for the theatre of it, it is well done. The light and monotone rocks. The DOF is fantastic. I love WA and this is just the sort of creative stuff we should be seeing here.

I feel you'd have a terrible time with a roll of sellotape with fingernails that short.
