Thanks Lonnit and Michael. This one now does look better to me after some break. :) I learned something from both of your comments. There are a lot of awsome shots here and I don't know where to start to comment, I am learning by looking ... This challenge idea is great!
Michael, that is precisely what I was describing to Ling Ling when I suggested this crop. Yes, it gives the eye a return pathway.
Ling Ling, yes, this is exactly what I had in mind. :) I really like it; it's so comfortable now. I run up the fence and then I lazily drift back thru the lovely field of wildflowers, feeling so content and peaceful. The whole image has such a lovely feel - the colors, the lighting, the glow of the fence... it's all so inviting. Wonderful job! ~ Lonnit

I like this crop, Ling Ling. I think it is necessary to keep the left side since it allows your eye to travel down the fence and right back up the gully of wildflowers. -Michael
Lonnit: Well, this is done exactly as you suggested. The other crop, I thought it looked better that way when I was cropping it. Even now, I can't decide which one is better. I will look at them after a little bit time and see if I feel any difference. Cropping too much and I lost my judgement temproarily. :)
I know the other one is tight, but it cuts the frame into two triangle, and I thought it looked a bit more dramatic that way. :)
Again, really appreciate your effort. You gave me some new insight for framing a scene.
