This is a view from the top of "The Colin" a hill about 5 minutes from where I live.
I've taken a shot of the windmills there before http://www.pbase.com/cslr_challenge/image/28001886
and wanted to try a star trail shot with the windmills as the foreground.
Note: Always find the easiest route up a marshy hill in daylight not at 1:00AM.
It took me an hour to find my way to my destination, probably trespassing on several farms, worrying lots of sheep and jumping about a dozen barb-wire fences.
Only on my way back down did I remember that my camera was set on ISO 400! DOH!
72 exposures of 20 seconds each blended together using lighten in PS.
