Better! And no, you didn't take the "too bright" comment to an extreme. In fact, in my opinion you could make it even darker without it hurting. Assuming a flat image (only one layer), you could try to duplicate the background layer and then set the blending mode on the new layer to "Multiply". But - remember to use your own judgement! --Olaf.dk
Yikes, that grass has become flourescent! To me, the image is still too bright. It may be a question of monitor calibration - both of mine are hardware-calibrated. Another suggestion for a slight improvement, may be cloning out the dry leaves, which distract somewhat from the main subject. --Olaf.dk
I like the pun! I would crop this a bit tighter: a little off all sides keeping the tire on the diagonal, but getting rid of that triangle of asphalt in the upper right. The texture in the grass, especially in the lower left, is a bit distracting IMO. The suggested slight crop would help this to some extent, but really maybe some selective focus (narrower depth-of-field) would have been even better? Also, I would work more on the postprocessing: darkening, saturating, increasing contrast perhaps? - I would play around and see what would add some life and interest to this image. Finally, I notice that there is no artist's name by this image - please add. --Olaf.dk
