Awww, you caught me. Yes, this was a UFO that had just landed - back in 1952! I had a knack with camera before I was born! LOL! ~ Lonnit

I like the mood of the darkened towers.

Lonnit is quite the dramatic queen here. I too think that lightening it up a tad will help since it takes some eyestrain to see the subject. I know it creates a mood but what kind of mood do you expect from "water towers"? ;)

LOL! Quite the imagination!

Awwwww, look at you how cute and delicate trying to be so nice and PC! ;) You can slam me hard - I can take it. :) LOL!

Now here's the real laugh. I spent an hour darkening this image to make it more moody and mysterious! LOL! Did you also suggest to Picasso that you'd like his work a tad more realistic? ;) Just busting your horns... couldn't resist.

Thank you though, very much for the suggestion. I just may take a second look at lightening a tad. ~ Lonnit

Looking at these guys as a child always evoked a sense of mystery (I wondered who was living in them). Nice shot except I would lighten it very slightly.......doing so would make a big difference. Critiques like this reflect personal taste, as does white balance and subject matter, so it's up to the photographer to make the final decision. I'm always amazed how making a suggested change has improved my image......so one just has to experiment. The bottom line is that the image still remains my interpretation, not someone else's. Shu
