Could be. I orig looked at it at night, then today I looked at it and it looked better, it's night again and now it looks flatter. Could also be that my monitor was sleeping for a couple of hours so maybe it needs to re-warm up. ~ Lonnit

Didn't touch it, Lonnit. Sometimes the light in the room makes a difference. -Roumen

Hmmmm... did you sharpen it since I commented? It looks sharper , not flat, and is popping off the background more now. It is still greenish and the highlights are the same, but it certainly does not have that dullness it had the last time I saw it. ~ Lonnit

Weird how varied tastes can be. This one does nothing for me. Actually, it's flat looking, bland, greenish, and the subject fades into the background, plus, if those highlights aren't completely blown, they are sure pushing the envelope. I don't mean to come down on you so hard, it's just that I was surprised to see raves here. I think the shot itself is fine, it's just that it needs to be processed differently. ~ Lonnit

Thanks for the comments. The blue and green colors of the background were overpowering the pale brown color of the totem and the image went as monochrome. -Roumen

This is a fun shot - interesting subject, nice composition, & right on topic. I'd kind of like to see the color version, though.

This is an amazing photo. I really like it! That totem feels 100 feet tall. I like the way it hugs the right side of the frame. awesome. -Earl Waud
