It was a macro lens ,the camera was on a tripod sitting in the open door of the garage.
Enough information for now.

Magnificent! How did you do this without drowning your camera? Waterproof housing?

Its great - I love the motion blur of the water amongst the sharp focus of the flower. Well done!

Well, I tried just straight out lens cleaning fluid ,then went to ethanol using the end of a plastic spoon wrapped in lens cleaning tissues, made a mess then took some shots and noticed a couple of lines, inspected the sensor with a strong light at various angles and caught the reflection of a scratch............dumb b@##%@!

Holy smokes, Eric. "Improvised on the cleaning gear"? Afraid to ask, but here goes: What did you use? As for cost, I think I've heard $300-400 (US) from someone with a similar tale to tell. But definitely fixable. I'd jerk your chain a bit, but I suspect you've done plenty of that yourself. --Joe

Camera therapy Joe....:( I'm crying, it looks like I scratched my sensor........I was trying to get it clean, but I over did the vigour, plus I improvised with the cleaning gear to make it worse.
Anybody know what this repair will cost me ?

I had a similar idea to this (I was gonna use a hose), until I looked at our roses. They've seen better days.....about 2 weeks ago :-)
Great shot!

We are all drawn to water... we see that all around us in life (can you say beachfront property? :-) Water evokes emotion in us and, especially when it's interacting with nature as it is in this image. It's so real and it's "happening" with it's motion. This is one of my favorites of your posted challenge images. Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing it. Markjay

Fantastic. Motion, texture, somewhat muted colors... generates strong atmosphere. Very nicely done. Did the camera therapy work [*sMiLe*]?

Spectacular image Eric. I think this'll be popular on voting day. Can;t see much wrong here at all.

Nice shot. Those raindrops are like needles! ~ Lonnit

This is the best representation of rain which I ever seen. I wonder how you managed to take it without washing your lens
