I decided to take my still life work OUTdoors for a change :-)

The beach was littered with these sea sponges and branches so...
I grabbed a few and created a series of "natural still life" images.
This is just one of the series of images.

I placed this seasponge on the sand, waited for the right moment to
capture it "in action" with the wave water interacting with it and,
photographed it from several different angles until I found the
angle that I found to be in pleasing composition.
