Cheeky*

Frederiksberg Have, Copenhagen, Denmark

Meant to re-shoot this one, but circumstances have not made it possible, so I'm posting this instead.

We passed this empty "sign stand" shortly after our arrival to the park and I asked my wife to hold Noah,
my son, so that I could get a "Royally Framed" portrait. Noah was impatient and so wild that we gave up
after a few frames. I did get one that was relatively good, but in the rush I didn't get the whole crown in
the picture - needed to be a bit further away. So on our way out, we went back and tried again. This time,
Noah was really cheeky. He knew what I wanted and was not going to make it easy - just kept making
faces - like here for example, sticking out his tongue. I kind of like it though, as it displays some of his
three-year-old personality. Look at his eyes and that facial expression - cheeky!

Ingenious is the word that comes to mind Olaf. That frame really is a good way of emphasizing the subject, both of the picture and of the challenge.

Cute. The other one, with the frame within a frame is more interesting, but, as you mentioned, it doesn't fit the theme as well. --Garrett

Thanks Victor! I am not sure whether this is supposed to hold a menu or park regulations but as there are two of them - one on each side of a path leading to a restaurant - my guess is it's meant for a menu. Here's another one, where you can see both frames:

The path going to the left leads to a restaurant. I didn't use that photo in this challenge as I didn't feel it fit the theme that well - shot at f/4.5 and not really very shallow DOF. --Olaf

I like this image a lot. What is that frame intended to be used for, by the way? -- Victor
