I shot this in various ways, with the balls arranged in many positions, with the focus in different areas. I also varied the lighting (it's natural daylight, albeit in a dim room). I chose this one cos I liked it best. I've discovered it doesn't matter where I have the focus, it's not gonna please everyone, so I do it so it pleases me ;-)

Or, leaving focus on the front ball, and getting a bit more light on the lower surfaces.

Hi Gayle - Did you also shoot a version putting the focus on the middle ball, perchance? If so, how'd it look compared to this one? -Ed Hahn
