Cropping below the chin would really ruin a great shot! Just IMHO. --Olaf

A crop just below the chin would have make this picture fit the rules. I think it would have made a great picture, too. --Victor

I just added the date. Sorry first time entering the challenge felt all confused and didnt want to break anything whilst i was logged in so i ended up jumping in and out real fast. Not a self portrait - portrait of a friend. We do a photo shoot together everynew year. have a whole website of the photos here:http://www.technicolortiara.com/cupcake1.htm The photo was originally wider with more pattern towards the right but I felt that the wrinkle in the backdrop was too distracting and since i was trying to get my image to 150k i cropped the suckah. thanks for your encouragement - its my first time entering one of my photos into ANYTHING so im all giddy and nervous - hee!

One of the best here. Very out of the box but still wide open. Icing on the cake would have been to produce this shot as a wide crop. Could be a controversial vote!
