My daughter says this picture scares her. Too bad the gold highlights are blown. So who got to eat the subject?

I left the gold decoration in the frame because the "rats" were arranged on a circular platter, with the gold decoration in the middle. They were all facing one direction as if in a race. - RO

I'm happy with only the left rat being in sharp focus, but I think I prefer it with the left hand gold thing chopped out. It still leaves it plenty wide. (or are the rats watching out that another big gold thing doesn't land on them?)

Ha Ha. Love the chocolate frame too! For me, I'd have liked more DOF to sharpen up the rats.

Thanks for the comments! I looked at it as "OH NO!!! Don't eat me!!" - Ralph Otto

I think they are looking up simply because they are camera shy ;-) Mark J
It's a fun image though, thanks for sharing it. Mark J
