The Shining *
by Vera

Lying on my stomach on the wooden floor, camera underneath the sofa, I shot this monochrome image of the silhouette of my cat, Tibby the Psycho, who had just finished Round 7 of hide-and-seek and was taking a short break to recharge her battery.
By the way, this shot is special to me, as it is the point of departure from which my interest in monochrome evolved. Thus I am particularly delighted to have it as my very first entry to CSLR challenge!! :-)

Beautiful shot. Love the way the light guides the eye towards the cat.

Oh yes, this is abolutely superb. I knew someone would do The Shining, but I was sure it would be a sunset or sunrise. This raises the bar in Exhibition Category.

Very nice! I can't put my finger on it, but this one grabs my attention. It has a mysterious quality to it. Suits the film title perfectly! — Olaf
