Over The Top

Falkirk, Scotland

This is the end of the Union Canal. The bit at the end of the canal that you can see in this shot is a rotating boat lift - part of the Falkirk Wheel - which takes boats down to the Forth & Clyde Canal. My other posting shows this aqueduct from a different angle.

Like other posters, I'm not sure if this image really qualifies for negative space....

I'm working on defining how I feel about cloudy skies as negative space. Regardless of what conclusion I come to, it will be just one man's opinion. This is a really stunning shot of this structure. Thanks for including the links, I'm off to read about it. -Michael
