The Earth is a Sphere

View from the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain (2962 m above sea level), down on Lake Eibsee (973 m above sea level) and some smaller mountains. The shore leght of the lake is approx. 8 km.

Thank you, Bob. Well, I don't think I come around a lot. This place is only 100 km from where I live yet I have been there only one single time; the other shots are from a few holiday trips during several years. -Gerald

Great 'fish-eye' view of the world... although... probably more appropriately called a 'hawk-eye' view? You really seem to get around GeraldH, nice series of posts. Regards Bob
