I Live in Southern California, but fully expected to live somewhere else by now...I tired to retire two years ago...but, it has not worked out....as frequently happens in people's lives; matters go awry, things happen, people need you and impose their need on your very own desires.
Often this is fine and good...sometimes not so much.
Occupationally, if you screw up your life, if you make some mistakes and need a path out of the thicket...you come to me.
Thanks traveller ,,it was such a difficult shot .
I just happened to notice the dew clinging to the very fine leafs of my Dill in the herb garden.
I tried to duplicate what I saw with a much larger leaved plant but I could not recreate the surface tension on the leaf to hold the droplet in shape and long enough to get a shot. I then thought I would have to take more than one shot with a larger plant because the point of focus was very restricted. In the end I came back to this and did it hand held with AI servo and 3 frames a second hoping I would at least catch one in focus shot.
I have been thinking about the E65 but it looks very hard and frustrating to use, I would certainly think hard about hiring a lens to try.
By the way, I have been reading a few of your posts in the forum and I am curious about where you actually reside and what do you do ?
