Caveats:
The calculator assumes constant light throughout the exposure. If the light changed during exposure, what is calculated is the average light over the timespan. For a subject that is painted with light, for example, where a spot of light is moved during the exposure, the EV calculation averages the value when the light is on the subject and when it is not. The result is a calculation that will differ from one calculated by the brightness of the light source.
The calculator assumes the camera is exposed according to the metering. A camera set for manual exposure may be exposed at a different level than that indicated by the camera, making the calculations invalid.
The calculator requires a point (.) as a decimal separator - it won't work with a comma (,).
