Business trip for work (one of my projects was to pick, purchase and deploy our optical network). The conference was held at the top of Zugspitze (Germany's highest peak in the Alps) via a ride up from Eibsee on the cogwheel train. After the conference we took a short ride to the peak via the cablecar and had dinner at the top of the mountain. There is a weather station and reception building with an observation platform. The sunset caused an amazing glow all around us. The next day we took a tour of the Schloss Neuschwanstein Castle, a nearby church and had lunch in the local town. We then went back to Munich's city center for dinner and a visit to the famous Hofbrauhaus beer garden. All shots taken with my 18-70mm "kit" lens (I was traveling light on this trip and didn't want to bring my heavy lenses).
