Hong Kong Wetland Park is located in the northern part of Tin Shui Wai. It is a major conservation and educational resource and has become a tourist attraction.

Tin Shui Wai New Town is located in the northwestern part of the New Territories of Yuen Long District. It was originally a fishponds area, and the whole town did not exist until the reclamation began in 1987.
