Kom Ombo

Temple of Kom Ombo, built in Graeco-Romain time (332 BC to AD 395), is a dual temple of Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. It is unusal in a sense that everything is replicated and perfectly symmetrical along the temple main axis. Stored in a shrine is a collection of mummified crocodiles.
