These pictures are from the abandoned basement of an asylum. It was originally a boy's prep school, built near the end of the 19th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, it became an asylum. The upper floors of the original building still house office space, however this basement was abandoned in the late 80's due to flooding problems. Its hard to convey with a flash picture just how spooky this place is, but its harder to use natural light without a tripod.
