found at the Ferguson's Forest Centre near Kemptville.
These seemed unusual in size, colour and shape of leaf.
They were very robust, with the tallest of them about 60 cm.
Colour of flower petals seemed more lilac or pinkish than
most other Bottle gentians that I've seen. Leaves were wide
and very glossy, often with a purplish cast.
