found many Purple Loosestrife plants heavily riddled with holes
made by Golden Loosestrife Beetles. Plants standing in water
at second boardwalk were most heavily damaged and covered with
many beetles. Beetles were walking around on the cattail blades
to move between plants. Population seemed very high.
