Stratford on Avon, birthplace of the bard is so heavily exploited to rob tourists, it is mostly a no-go area for me. However the river Avon remains as beautiful as ever and can either be canoed or walked along heading downstream. The old railway route is more for cyclists, stick close to the river bank, mostly north, but changing to south between where the rail bridge crosses to the new road bridge
