Holy quadrility, or is it sexteplity?
try scrolling 'original' or drag it off and size to screen; at least 2 of the churches are no longer consecrated
Taken from Worcestershire beacon on a day with very selective light beams and nearly got blown off the trig-point on which I think I was trying to rest the camera; not a day for tripods and all

Upton 'pepperpot'
from the Malvern Hills...the only viewpoint where the river Severn is in the frame and not too much of modern Upton-upon-Severn. Would appreciate honest comment, (including bin it and stop wasting time)
This used to be the Church, but the nave fell in, a new Church was built and now it's a mini-museum

picking up the casualties
....I think; looks like a guts injury on the approach run...

Welland
signing off this gallery for now until light gets clear enough to get the rest visible west of Malvern Hills- this one just using normal lens as its pretty close

my own angel
I think I can sneak her in, but don't any one tell her. Actually my daughter took this one, I always get a frown (for the camera that is, not real life)

angels tuning up
Woolpit again - it doesn't look as if the apostles are too keen on music; an eagle sleeps blissfully in a corner

Angelic pit-stop, at Woolpit, Suffolk to be precise
We (including any accompanying angels) often run out of puff at this 3/4 point of our journey to Woodbridge where our youngest daughter lives. I have been longing to improve on my 6 year old efforts at

but the driver is always keen to keep going
Anyway a few offerings over next day or two - for historical stuff (this lot is c 1450) see

Great Malvern Priory
still waiting for clear weather, so this is an old one with angel filter applied; they have quite a bit of a problem with all the modern junk distracting, just imagine it 600 years ago before brick and slate got scattered willy-nilly
http://www.greatmalvernpriory.org.uk/history.html
this is an ideal setting for music and some is still played here (with audience of angels in the clerestory) rather than in the industrial shed to which the council reduced a 1930's winter gardeny thing, just about OK for Brecht

Little Malvern Priory
the angels have got fed up waiting for a clear enough day to use previous rig, so seeing how they can do with a kit lens

Chapel of Malvern College
number 3 this is easily the finest of the Malvern College buildings, though unfortunately most public events now take place in the rather spikier Transylvanian neo-gothic main hall

Coddington Church
Taken from near the apex of the Malvern Hills
I think this is the sort of mid-C19th 'restoration' that gave birth to the Society for Protection of Ancient Buildings to save the rest.
