looking back from Porthbeor beach. A long low tide allowed roaming between the beaches. At high tide the east beach becomes accessible only by boat (or risking getting very wet if misjudging leaps between rocks!). This headland doesn't seem to have a name, which is a pity as it also has a cave below it, of which more later
