linked to the Council House http://www.pbase.com/46rossi/image/145765701 this 1874-9 building by H R Yeoville Thomason crossing Baroque and Gothic revival achieves a level of overflowing ostentation all of its own, this image being a tone-down. Also contains one of the finest collections of Pre-raphaelite art.
