the great hole

slightly alarming hole in the cliff top leading down to a cave open to the sea beyond

this stretch of coast around Gwennap Head has an amazing vocabulary of rocks formed from eroded granite stacks - overview and more shapes in next few pics

Great shot but it amazes me it doesn't have a fence around it....does the sea ever blow up from the hole in heavy weather..
