Carnasserie castle

as seen from the northern high point of Poltalloch estate; actually not quite highest, but that is in modern forestry best skirted to south, but returning to new road to Old Poltaloch short of Lady's seat.

When it was being defended, there would no doubt have been a scout up here to signal to the men on the castle tower
