The LCH tool is easily my favourite; the luminosity pane was shown controlling sky tones above. Here it is shown ensuring that the reason for taking the picture, the warm colours generated by the late afternoon sun is brought through. The chroma global adjustment is much more powerful than 'saturation' in 'quick fix', but even better can be applied like this preferentially to a carefully selected range of colours. It can also be applied as a reduction, for example distinguishing contrasts in a field of grass or bank of trees by upping the yellow-green and downing the green-blue ranges. The other 2 panes control lightness and hue for similarly chosen colour ranges.
