Grasmere - summer and winter

My first winter visit to the Lakes since uni was probably a colder than usual one.

Adding some summer ones at at time I would normally be avoiding it, but as usual the crowds thin rapidly

Arranged by walks, though some combined ones on more than one day

Some rather fine images here and several stunning ones. The fells look good in most conditions but the snow cover brings out the shape of the landscape and the grandeur of the hills.
