IOU a partridge, but it would be badly lost to roost here

moon for black sabbath
left to myself in the house, I lit the stove and put on Mahler's 10th symphony.
The short offcut envelopped in flame might represent Will and Bear trying, with their bare hands, to stem the tide of westward expansion and exile of native Americans represented by the fire; the fire in Will's hut? An inversion of the normal white moon in a black background?

horsing around with the moon
probably the ghost of Waverley in FG
09-Dec-2011

having set up a hare for Brian, its only fair I post something and this one as it breasted the ridge of the Malverns gains in character what it (and all other attempts tonight) lose in content

pricked balloon
while on books, David Niven was probably right calling his autobiography "The Moon's a Balloon". This shot shows it at the precise moment it is punctured by gorse bushes on top of the Malvern Hills and it is this that causes it to deflate - all that business about rotations and ecliptics is a smoke screen

degibbousing
you can re-inflate it quite easily by putting it into a ballon harness and running the torch for a few seconds
The balloon came to mind thinking of Will's method for sending his first love letter
The moon is the one shown, dec 2011, but had to use an old harness
12-Dec-2011
just past full dec 11
fairly pleased for 4 am handheld against bathroom window frame
maybe I am becoming a photographer if I can't just have a pee at 4am without reaching for the camera...but maybe not using the lens short
