An unusual visitor in the deep snow, March 19 2011. Some amusing poses. This bird was rather sluggish, didn't move much, except for some preening and bobbing up and down. Because of the deep snow cover (2-3 feet), I wonder what it found to eat. Stayed over an hour and finally wandered off.
