Barred Owl visitor

This Barred Owl has come to visit our property in Vermont twice now this winter. (Maybe more times that I don't know about). This happens every few years when, it seems , there is a shortage of available food in the woods. The owls DO live nearby, though, as we have seen and heard them often in the woods behind our house.
