It was a beautiful night down at the beach of Fort Meyers, FL watching the sunset. I didn't really have a fixed plan but I new that this was the night. I told my now fiancé that I wanted to get some pictures of us silhouetted against the sunset. After a few shots of us sitting down I told her to stand up. I went back to my camera to change the orientation; I saw that she was paying attention to the sunset and not me. I set my camera to be triggered with a remote timer; I made my way over to her, got down on one knee, opened the ring box, and triggered the camera with the remote. At this point she still wasn't paying any attention to what I was doing. I tapped her on her elbow so that she would look at me. At some point my camera took the picture, I couldn't have asked for better timing. As you may know by now, she said yes, but I caught her by surprise.
Again the proposal image was not posed, but I was able to capture the exact moment.
