A BIT OF A SCRAMBLE UP THE SIDE OF THE BREADKNIFE.
Warrumbungle National Park, NSW
The Breadknife is one of the best known features of the park. It is a thin slice of rock rising 100 m above the ground on the western side and 60 m on the eastern side. It is the cast of a great crack or dyke in the volcanic cone of Crater Bluff.
If my memory serves me correctly, Don Wilcox and Nick Gooch were active Kamerukas back in 71. I think Don may have been on the 71 Warrumbungle walk. Can't recall Steve Sessions.
