Imagine if you will around 90 C.E. during the cult of the Roman Emperors how mad John of Patmos was to see his fellow Christians eating meat that was purchased from this temple. The Hittites lived in what is now central Turkey.  They made very elaborate pottery from clay.  As far as we know they developed the potters wheel between 6000 - 4000 BC. Their techniques lives on with modern day artisans.
