Well, what else is there to do when you have a long weekend besides travel? This was a last-minute, unplanned trip. It was also one of the few times I've been to a country and known ZERO of the local language. With any background in any Latin language, you can get by in well over half of Europe, and I learned the hard way that the Germanic tongue ain't so easy.

Regardless, I had an outstanding time. See individual descriptions for more detail. Vienna is highly recommended, though strictly for tourist purposes I'd recommend three days as the maximum stay time to see the touristy-type things.

You'll see Christina again in a few of these - she's an impulsive traveler, and I was thankful to have the company of her and her (now my) friend Brian.
