I just sort of went to the train station and said to myself - which direction are we going in today? I ended up 3.5 hours away in Bologna. Pretty town, great shopping, and lots of people out on the streets! And lest we forget, my friends - bolognese sauce comes from Bologna! I took advantage of that one at lunchtime, and I can tell you that it was very, very yummy. I brought things with me to stay the night, but in the end decided that I wanted my bed. Got to meet some Americans too, thanks for the company!
