thats not a blanket...its a straightjacket........and JANETTE if your from the uk and they had such great TB places why was your mother in a hospital in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
james 21-May-2008 16:00
There is a little girl standing at the end of the hallway. She is closer to the left side of the doorway. She has a blanket wrapped around her.

Wow.
you just don't give up do you Janette.
We know your mother survived.
Who cares?

Sorry, but your getting annoying.
Really annoying.

Maybe your mother shouldnt have lived.
She was mental.
And, i mean this.
Your really ticking me off Janette.
Shut up and leave.
No one cares anymore.

And, no one cares "my mother spent more than two years in one herself, in northern England where there isn't any sunshine"
so what?

How old are you?
Two?
Here you are, insulting people over the computer, on a site that isnt even yours.
And thouands of people are telling you to shut up.
So,
be a smart person,
and shut your trap.

Sorry Janette, but I have to agree with Guest here. Don't be so condescending toward those who might believe in this sort of thing, or who simply find the paranormal interesting. If this isn't your cup of tea, why are you even hanging around it?

Yes, Kathleen, it does look like someone is standing at the end of the hall. It could just be an optical illusion, but you never know :) ...
Guest 31-Oct-2007 20:32
like u have any imagination at all.....why are u even bothering to make comments...u seem like someone who thinks they are above "this kinda thing"

It wasn't at all unusual for such a number to die in a period of 5 years or so. This is only one of many hospitals of its type - my mother spent more than two years in one herself, in northern England where there isn't any sunshine! - but it wasn't all death and dismay. Sorry to have to tell you that people did survive, folks. If there are any ghosts in WH it's probably because they're furious that the place is so neglected and that they're treated with no more respect than a Hammer horror movie. If you really are terrified at the prospect of being in what is essentially just an old and empty building, I wonder how you manage to walk about the world in general, being as millions of people are dying all around you all day, every day, from TB, HIV-AIDS, alcoholism, cancer, malnutrition, dehydration, kidney failure, car crashes, train crashes, air crashes, poisoning (deliberate or otherwise!) suicide, drug overdoses and about a zillion other grossly distasteful ways of departing this life......Imagine all those ghosts around you all the time, no matter where you are! Poor old WH - it deserves better.

omg its the sunroom hall atleast a thousand people died in this hall over a perioid of 5 years they belived that sunlight and fresh air cured tb.....now we know they were wrong there is pictures of the patients on this hall everything is so clean the floors look waxed theres nice looking beds people and life now its just like there with life but not known life because things end the life of not only people but buildings to this single hall has history of death happyness life and sarrow all mixed together over a hundred years of history turned into this its a shame looking at the pics from when it was in order and this pic

What a great shot. If it weren't for the sun and trees, it would be such a lonely photo, but they give it hope. Really like this one...
