Jim, I haven't talked to you in a while (or seen you for that matter). It's Jim junior. What's up? I hope it's going well and that you are having a good holiday season. I didn't mean for us to disconnect and never speak again way back when, but I guess it just happened. Email me and maybe we can play some golf. Also, I like the pictures. There very...artsy.

I love those pictures, especially the black and white ones.

It's rare to find such emotional and sensually engaging work. I love your courage in the dark... and your realization that the need for sharp focus is conditional. Thanx for the great images!

You have an interesting eye for the unusual. I really don't understand thee numerous out of focus photos. Mistakes or what?

the woman in the photo's name is Ei-Mang Wu who went to Cal around 1989-93? If so it would be nice if you could say hi to her on my behalf and perhaps give her my current email.

the pics are very nice. your style is very distinctive and i enjoyed looking at them.

thanks.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I also have a 10D which I used to use for foodphotography, sometimes I calibrated with a grey card, sometimes I did not, I got reasonable WB though through either method, with both tungsten & flash. I think your 10D may need some attention or your lighting is confusing it, setting the custom WB is not that difficult & worth it IMHO. Good luck.

Hi Susan, As with Andre...I got here by chance and am so glad I did. Your images are extremely refreshing to view. I've added you to my Fav's so will make sure I return to soak up more of your wonderful art. BTW, Your Oil's gallery...are they photo's of your hand paintings or are they P/S conversions, either way they are just wonderful. Thanks for sharing and glad I stopped to view your work.

nice picture :)

Jim, cool galleries, I like the 'story' galleries (haircut, market etc), by posting the blured and sequence shots you 'speak/tell' about the emotion and movements of the people in the stories, but then i like such snapshots. Shall be back, will take some more time in your pichurs and other galleries then. Stuart
