When we first arrived at our second lodge in Costa Rica some folks were telling me about the Spotted Wood-Quail that were lurking around. The sun went down quickly with more rain moving in that evening. It wasn't until the next day my guide pointed out some walking around close to the log I was sitting on. I turned to my right and was pleased to find a group of them barely visible. So this is another new bird for me. I think they are so pretty. I checked my settings and this shot was taken at 16,000 ISO! It was dark very that afternoon under the forest canopy with more rain moving in. Not too bad I think. Of course, I cleaned it up a little with the Lasso Tool surrounding my subject and the Noise/Median Filter at 17 pixels in Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud.
