Lanius excubitor excubitor - North-, Central- and East-Europe and Northwest-Siberia. Winters south to Turkey and West-Europe;
Lanius excubitor homeyeri - Southeast-Europe and Southwest-Siberia. Winters to Southwest- and Central-Asia;
Lanius excubitor koenigi - Canary Islands;
Lanius excubitor algeriensis - coastal Northwest-Africa;
Lanius excubitor elegans - Northeast-Mauritania and Northwest-Mali to Northeast-Sudan, Egypt and Southwest-Israel;
Lanius excubitor leucopygos - Central- and South-Mauritania to South-Chad and Central-Sudan;
Lanius excubitor aucheri - Eastcentral-Sudan to Northwest-Somalia, Arabian Peninsula, South-Israel, Jordan, Iraq and South-Iran;
Lanius excubitor theresae - South-Lebanon and North-Israel;
Lanius excubitor buryi - Yemen;
Lanius excubitor uncinatus - Socotra;
Lanius excubitor lahtora - Pakistan through Central-India and South-Nepal to West-Bangladesh;
Lanius excubitor pallidirostris - South-Russia and Kazakhstan to Mongolia, North-China, Northwest-Iran and Afghanistan.
