Hello Corky from Florida! I purchased some parts on ebay for my '94 XR650L and started searching for photos of the Turbo City guards and skid plate. That's how I found your page. As I looked through your photos it didn't take long to realize your modified parts are now MY modified parts! Hahaha! So now I understand what the duct tape was on the rack for. Somehow I didn't get offered the TCI skid plate so I'm searching for one. I also have your headlight cover (with the turn signal mod),the master cylinder guard, heat shield, air box, and side covers. They are being well used on my '94 and my son's '94 as well. He is stationed in southern California so your parts are spread out but being used. Cheers! Walter

Hi ther Corky. Nice mods on the Xt. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada and am just heading out to my cottage area this coming weekend to get my 1986 XT350 ready for some hard riding. I have some detailed questions to ask but not all at this time as there are quite a few. The case saver and clutch cover are awesome. What did that involve in making a success?

Hi there. You did a nice work! Do you still own the bike? I´m restoring a 1990 Yamaha XT 600 E. It needs work with the engine and a new paint job. Some months ago i bought a (2-stroke) 1985 Yamaha YZ 490. It needs some work to, but i´ll ride it until my XT is ready. The YZ 490 is a brutal bike.

Nice pictures. I thought we had tough rock infested trails, I think you do as well. That rock section looked pretty brutal.
