Hummingbird

There are a handful of birds out there that I want to get really good pictures of before I put my camera on the shelf.

Bald Eagles, hummingbirds, Red-tail hawks, and herons are up on the list. I've had the fortune to get some decent pictures of bald eagles and had the opportunity to chase the littliest bird on my list.

Now I've got to figure a way to sneak up on that heron at the lakehouse.

I shoot RAW and boost the exposure. I also bump the ISO a bit to pull in as much light as is available. And every now and then, the sun hits the feeders just right.

I had a q: How'd you get the pic to stay so brightly lit and colorful if you had it at such a fast shutter speed?
