2007


This year the bird population seemed to be significantly down compared to last year. It may have been the heat or the drought but the larger birds didn't seem to be as numerous. There was a new addition though. A small number of Osprey have returned to the Refuge. The past few Hurricane seasons seemed to have driven the Osprey out of the area but about half a dozen have nested in the area this year.
