These are some shots I took while at the DPReview Canon forum Meet 'N' Greet at Yellowstone National Park. Overall, I shot more than 650 images in about a 5 day timeframe.
This was my second trip to Yellowstone, and I'm even more in love with it than after the first trip. What a cool park. Is it any wonder that it was the world's first national park? Is it any wonder that it's still one of the most popular?
The park really has everything to offer. Geothermal features, incredible waterfalls, an impressive lake, wildife like no other (off the top of my head, I saw: elk, bison, wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, marmots, antelope, coyotes, eagles, osprey, whooping cranes, sandhill cranes, mule deer and I'm sure a lor more that I'm forgetting), etc. etc. etc.
I surely will be back again. I have penned a lot of my thought on the trip in the image descriptions, so be sure to stop in and read those if you're interested in the trip.
Thanks for stopping!
