So as one can imagine, if a trail drops nearly one mile of elevation in 6.3 miles of trail, there's bound to be some good switchbacks around. The South Kaibab Trail wastes no time, and drops quite a bit right from the trailhead. Of course, there's an even better shot of some switchbacks coming up, as you shall soon see!
